My sister asked me to do some illustrations for her. Most are very rushed, but I felt particularly happy with this one. I was inspired both by Rapunzel’s father in Tangled and Mr. Fredrickson from Up.
I think this image pretty much sums up Aleta’s relationship with her parents. In the story proper, Aleta is about 12, but here she’s about 7.
Another Disney character racebent: Beauty and the Beast in Africa. I have to say, I’m having a really fun time with this!
Disney character racebending. Yeah, this is totally a thing and I couldn’t wait to contribute. So I give you: Sleeping Beauty in the Arctic. A princess asleep in an ice castle. I’m partial to the blue side of the dress argument.
